About the Role
As a Senior Manager - Finance, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of MRO, ensuring financial targets are achieved while minimizing risks. You will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, and inventory. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, investors, and lenders will be key aspects of your role. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead a finance team comprising Finance Managers and Senior Supervisors.
Your Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Define KPIs, develop individual plans including succession, monitor performance, and foster open communication within the finance team.
- Bookkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate books, ensure IFRS and COSO compliance, oversee VAT, corporate tax, ESG/ESR, and transfer pricing compliance, and manage audit processes aiming for unqualified opinions.
- Financial Planning and Analysis & Reporting: Lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor financial performance, provide monthly reports, analyze budget variances, and drive process and system optimizations including financial planning tools like Hyperion.
- Treasury Management: Maintain credit lines, manage debt structure, meet shareholders’ Profit-Cash Ratio expectations, settle debt obligations timely, monitor financial covenants, and manage working capital.
- Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely invoicing and collections, manage OPEX within budget, supervise procurement compliance, review bookkeeping and monthly closures, manage inventory and fixed assets, and meet financial KPIs.
- Business Partnerships: Collaborate with key leaders to drive operational performance, support commercial tenders, optimize systems, and manage departmental costs.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a qualified accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field and a recognized professional certification such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years leading a finance function managing teams of five or more.
Key competencies include expert knowledge of IFRS, strong ERP system experience, and proven ability to partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams. You must demonstrate excellent financial analysis and decision support skills, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development.
Additionally, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, ethical judgment, risk management, and data security is essential. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, coupled with crisis management experience, will enable you to succeed in this role.
