About the Role
As the Head - Commercial at Sanad Capital, you will lead our Commercial and Sales team driving customer-facing activities, expanding and maintaining customer accounts, managing sales projects, and identifying new sales opportunities within the Aviation & Engine MRO sector. You will spearhead remarketing strategies for assets both on-lease and off-lease, oversee deal team processes, secure necessary approvals, and support senior leadership in commercial efforts. Your leadership will enhance Sanad Capital’s market presence through strategic remarketing and efficient internal process management, ensuring sales operations are cost-effective and aligned with the organization's evolving needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to Capital’s Strategy (20%): Define remarketing strategies per engine type, lead repossession activities as needed, and develop commercial strategies aligned with operations.
- Improve Policies and Procedures (10%): Ensure team compliance with policies, and continuously enhance operational procedures and controls to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Lead the Sales Team (35%): Manage recruitment, performance, development, and motivation of staff, directly supervising at least one team member to achieve departmental goals.
- Develop Operational Excellence (10%): Oversee remarketing and commercial operations, manage contract negotiations, and ensure compliance reporting accuracy.
- Improve Processes and Integration (5%): Contribute to integration projects and provide insights on Sanad Capital matters.
- Manage the Project Life Cycle (10%): Lead continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes incorporating international standards and evolving business needs.
- Develop Talent (10%): Build a skilled workforce, support Emiratization by identifying skill gaps, and provide coaching and mentoring to develop local talent.
Who we are looking for
We seek a dynamic leader with a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; a Master's degree or advanced certifications are preferred. You bring 10 to 12 years of progressive sales management experience within aerospace or aviation sectors, including 5 to 8 years in senior managerial roles with strong people leadership skills.
You possess deep market and industry insight into aviation, leasing, and financial markets, combined with strategic and operational planning expertise. Your strong financial and commercial acumen supports deal-making and asset remarketing. Excellent negotiation, contract management, and policy optimization skills are essential, alongside experience leading projects and driving change.
As a motivated communicator and presenter, you excel at building high-performing teams, supporting Emiratization initiatives through coaching and mentoring, and managing priorities to deliver results under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related productivity tools is required.
