About the Role
Sanad Aerotech, a leading global aircraft Engine MRO provider with revenues exceeding $2 billion, is seeking a Senior Manager – Commercial Operations to lead and oversee the commercial functions within its Engine MRO Business. This pivotal role involves managing the Account Management and Invoicing teams, providing strategic direction, operational governance, and ensuring alignment with company objectives. The Senior Manager will act as a key liaison between operational teams and senior leadership, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement while fostering strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. The position reports to the Director – Commercial & Sales and plays a critical role in enhancing team capability and maintaining high standards of service quality.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership and Oversight: Provide direction and governance for Invoicing and Account Management functions, setting KPIs, managing talent development, and championing continuous improvement.
- Invoicing Management: Oversee end-to-end invoicing processes ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely billing; manage escalated disputes and maintain data integrity.
- Account Management Oversight: Lead Key Account functions focusing on performance, profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction; support resolution of complex customer challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as primary interface with senior internal and external stakeholders, participating in cross-functional collaboration to align commercial operations.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor and report key financial and operational metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline, with a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. They bring a minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial operations or account management, ideally within the Aviation or Aero Engine MRO sector, including at least 5 years of progressive leadership managing multifunctional teams. Expertise in overseeing invoicing and key account management in complex technical environments is essential, with familiarity of V2500, Trent700, LEAP, and GEnx engine platforms considered advantageous.
Key competencies include strategic leadership, commercial acumen, people management, customer relationship management, financial and analytical skills, deep invoicing and contractual knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, MRO technical understanding, and strong organizational skills. The candidate must demonstrate intercultural intelligence and the ability to thrive in an international aviation environment.
